This is an amazing find! A 2 minute excerpt from Cillian Murphy’s brilliant and award-winning performance in Misterman in July 2011, just released by the Galway Arts Festival. The first time a video has been made public! This scene is at the very start of the play. Thomas Magill (Murphy) has just arrived home with an egg he stole for breakfast, but is frustrated by his inability to shut off that Doris Day song.

Haha. Well there’s Cillian with his mate, the playwright Enda Walsh (his collaborator on Disco Pigs and Misterman), photographed in London last year for Vogue UK.

Bringing this back to share great news about another Cillian project (in addition to yesterday’s about Transcendence and earlier news about Tron 3). Enda has just finished writing a new play for Cillian called Ballyturk and they say they’re staging it later this year. Aw yessss! (X)

Ya can’t be allowed to be seen dancing in the Mrs Cleary’s Café… least of all with Mrs Cleary. Ya can never tell if the rumours are true but if they are there’s been quite a few farmers around Inishfree who’ve taken to the old whisked cheese and broken biscuit base.
